From Particles considers a peculiar way of making intelligible what was previously considered as inconceivable. It does not attempt to transform socially understandable structures through bodies as definitive totalities. Instead, it suggests that movement, voice and word can be used as tools to create a utopian time-space, one that does not operate according to logic of the ordinary. In doing so, it creates the subversive potential to expand the horizons of what is possible and what is real.

April Veselko is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. She was educated in Italy at Art Factory International, Bologna and MoDem PRO – Compagnia Zappalà Danza Catania programs. She has created several original projects under the production of Plesna Izba Maribor, Zavoda Federacija and Scenario Pubblico and collaborated with choreographers such as Matjaž Farič, Marko Urbanek, Marttaleena Nikkari, Magdalena Reiter, Mattia Gandini, Gregor Luštek, Barbara Kanc, Tina Valentan and others. She is a member of the Tovarishia Dance Company team and one of the initiators and regular choreographers of the ŠIK and the ŠIK junior collective.

Kaja Vajdetič is a contemporary dancer and a student of cultural sociology. As a creator, she works with the Ursus Dancers dance group and the Hurs collective, within which she has co-created several projects (Druga prještej, Utrip, Short sketch of the Community). As a dancer, she has participated in the performances/projects by Matjaž Farič (The Other Side), Vita Osojnik (Manada) and Maayan Danoch (Telepathic Works).

Ana Cvelfar is a graduate in English and a student of cultural sociology. She works as a contemporary dancer, performer and creator. In recent years, she has created a solo performance O prašnih sprój (2020), participated in the dance performances Druga stran (2021) and Age of Aquarius (2021), as well as in the dance installations Short Sketch of the Community (2022) and Pulse (2022).

In my original interpretation, for example, the idea appeared that the dancers are enacting the process of establishing the self-awareness of some autopoietic, "self-learning" organism.

The superficial treatment of a broad question with an overly diffused focus represents a noble attempt, which is quite rare in the current contemporary dance landscape.
