Microworlds is a playful and poetic performance that invites audiences to rediscover the beauty of small, often overlooked things. Through micro-movements, body landscapes, and simple objects, it explores the fragility of our existence and the richness of tiny everyday moments. In an open, imaginative space, both children and adults are encouraged to slow down, pay attention, and co-create unique microworlds—where everything has meaning and potential.
Jazmína Piktorová is a choreographer based in Prague. Interested in the intersection of movement education and creating for young audiences, she engages in long-term research into subjects that challenge both her and the audience. She is a co-founder of ZDRUHESTRANY, a collective with Viktor Černický and Tomáš Janypka. Her latest piece Microworlds received the 2023 Czech Dance Platform Award and the Audience Award, as well as a nomination for the Thalia Awards and is part of selection Aerowaves Twenty24.
Sabina Bočková is a choreographer based in Prague. Since 2019 she has created works as part of POCKETART collective. Her works were part of Aerowaves Twenty20, Twenty21 and Twenty24 and took part in Shape It, a project for young audiences. Her most recent project Fairy Tales is part of the Big Pulse Dance Alliance. Fascinated by simple body language, she transforms movement through choreographic structures while at the same time addressing topics that echo social and cultural issues.
