Shizen'na means natural in Japanese—a state of being that is authentic, intuitive, and instinctive. The duet unfolds through improvisation, listening, and response, allowing movement to emerge in the present moment. Blending contemporary and urban dance with elements of theatricality, Shizen'na develops an organic movement language shaped by the dialogue between two bodies. The performers continuously negotiate the balance between individual expression and collective flow. The work embraces action that arises not from control or the pursuit of perfection, but from trust in the moment and instinct. Here, spontaneity is not accidental—it is a conscious presence from which movement emerges.
Rea Vogrin is a professional dancer, performer, and creator with a background in hip hop and contemporary dance. Her work is rooted in the exploration of the body and its capabilities, as well as a process of self-discovery through movement. As an author, she has created several original dance miniatures under the mentorship of Gašper Kunšek. Her works have been multiple award winners at national and international OPUS competitions and have been presented at various dance festivals. For the piece 84.000 vrat, she received the award for best concept, and for INSTINKT, the production award JSKD at OPUS.
