Unfolded moments is a hybrid dance and visual performance that takes the performer on a journey through the human mindscape, exploring inner shadows, fears, and identity. Created by Kristýna Peldová and Enya Belak, the performance traces moments of personal crisis and portrays how one navigates selfhood through inner struggles. Through movement and video projections, the creators play with contrasts between visible and invisible, transparency and subtlety. A crisis emerges as an urge to escape, disrupted by overwhelming visual and external stimuli. This tension overpowers the desire for calm, compelling the body to respond and adapt to an intense environment of shifting forces.
Kristýna Peldová is a dancer, performer, choreographer, and pedagogue. She studied at the Duncan Centre Conservatory in Prague and graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. Since moving to Slovenia in 2017, she has worked in contemporary dance and performance. She is a member of Platforma NEST (SI) and the 23Poems Collective (CZ). In 2026, she received the Slovenian national Ksenja Hribar Award for a Promising Artist.
Enya Belak is a multidisciplinary artist from Ljubljana working across film, choreography, and new media. She holds an MA in Directing Fiction Films from Goldsmiths University London. Her works include the documentary Aerowaves at 25, the interdisciplinary project Blue Ink, and the VR dance film DANCESCAPES. In 2026/27, she is an artist-in-resident at the Dance Theatre Ljubljana with the project SOPOTJA.
